I had an outstanding experience working with Shaun as both an owner and trainer. From the very beginning, he took the time to truly understand my goals and concerns for my dog, and the progress we saw in just one day exceeded anything I’ve experienced before. I brought my Belgian Malinois in on a referral after noticing a significant loss of confidence and a decline in basic obedience—issues like leash pulling, lack of recall, and reactivity had become major concerns. When we arrived, she was extremely nervous and withdrawn, showing little focus and hesitating even with simple commands. However, Shaun’s approach quickly began to make a difference. Despite initial distractions, including other dogs actively training nearby, he remained patient and strategic. A pivotal moment came when we observed Shaun working another dog—almost instantly, my dog became alert, engaged, and eager to participate. It was remarkable to see such a dramatic shift in her demeanor and focus in such a short time. As the session progressed, Shaun gradually introduced her to more advanced exercises, including engagement drills and controlled chase work, even incorporating another trainer to build her confidence and responsiveness. I was incredibly proud of how she adapted and responded. By the time we returned home, she was noticeably happier, more attentive, and far more responsive to commands. I am truly impressed with Shaun’s expertise, professionalism, and deep understanding of different breeds and training methods. His ability to tailor his approach to each dog’s needs is exceptional.
